Join the YEI Community

If you are between the ages of 16 & 20 and are looking not only to get your GED, but explore the many options your future holds, you should attend a YEI orientation.

During orientation, you will meet the staff, learn about all YEI has to offer, and take a few assessments.

Upon enrollment, you will be matched with a student advisor who will work with you to develop and help you meet your personal, educational and career goals.

What to Expect as a YEI Student

YEI covers all program costs – testing fees, bus passes and meals.

Classes from 9am – 3pm include:

  • Gender-Specific Life Skills

Night school is also available from 4-6pm.
